Design Solutions - Summer 2008 - (Page 46) Premiere Global Corporate Offices Initial planning for the company’s new 50,000 square foot office space in Atlanta, Georgia, began in April 2006 and move-in took place in August 2007. “We wanted a corporate headquarters environment that is fresh and forward-thinking, yet at the same time, gives a nod to stability and tradition of a successful, international corporation,” explains Premiere’s Bobby Collett. 46 DESIGN SOLUTIONS Farrington Design Group, Atlanta, was selected to complete the design of the space. AWI member firm ONSITE Woodwork Corporation, Loves Park, Illinois, fabricated and installed the custom woodwork for the project. Our objective, says designer Alicia Farrington, was to create a space that was fluid and high-tech, while remaining sophisticated. “It was important that the space felt like an established company the minute clients stepped into the elevator lobby.” Fluidity is accomplished where woodwork elements fold from wall to ceiling, and spaces flow into one another seamlessly, with open ceilings, pivoting or sliding doors, and glass partitions with concealed frames.
