SilverLink - Fall 2008 - (Page 34) SilverStone Group is proud to announce Dana Votava is Promoted to Webmaster, Creative/Event Specialist Dana’s expertise lies in the maintenance and update of the Firm’s website, design of marketing pieces, newsletters and advertisements, coordination of tradeshows, seminars and firm events and handling public relations and interviews. Dana received a BSBA in Marketing from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She is active in the Junior League of Omaha and Omaha Panhellenic Association and is a Kappa Alpha Theta alumna and a dance instructor at The Dance Authority. Dana has been with SilverStone Group since 2004 and is a member of the Wellness Activities Group; she previously held the position of Public Relations Coordinator. Brenda McGowen is Promoted to Account Manager Brenda has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She focuses on writing individual health products and serving Small Group clients with plan changes, administration, benefits changes, renewals and negotiation of renewal rates with carriers. She previously held the position of Account Administrator. Brenda has her Associate in Claims designation and Workers’ Compensation Claims Law Associate designation. She is also currently working towards her Health Insurance Associate designation. Stacy Lamprecht Joins SilverStone Group SilverStone Group has named Stacy J. Lamprecht to the position of Account Executive in the LongTerm Care department of the Risk Management division. Utilizing her 10+ years of customer-centered business experience, Stacy will bring a unique set of skills to finding solutions for her clients. Stacy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She serves as a board member on the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, and is an active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Stacy is also the founder of Letter Elements, a charitable organization that sells homemade artwork to help provide camping experiences for children with type 1 diabetes. Beth Baker Joins SilverStone Group SilverStone Group has named Beth Baker to the newly-created position of Multi-Media / Public Relations Specialist, highlighting her skills in writing and editing copy, branding, creating marketing communications, market research, brand image research and trade show experience. Beth’s experience includes internships with the Western Michigan offices of Amazon.com and izzydesign. Beth received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and had a year of international studies at College Lasalle in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
