Involve them all in the early stages of planning, and communicate, communicate, communicate throughout the project. • Understand the Full Costs – Identify or estimate the environmental risks, minimize the unknowns, investigate potential funding sources, and look into environmental insurance. • Incorporate Environmental Remediation into Construction Plans – Involve the environmental engineers in construction planning so that the remedial action plans can take advantage of new structures to assist in the remediation.
