The company is participating with CCX through its parent organization, the Bosch Group. As part of the Bosch Group and CCX initiative, Bosch Rexroth will be helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Overall, Bosch has committed to achieve a 6% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions at its U.S. operations by 2010, from a baseline of the company’s average greenhouse gas emissions in the year 2000. “As a local company, we are pleased to participate in the Chicago Climate Exchange,” said Berend Bracht, president and chief executive officer of Bosch Rexroth in North America. “We are looking forward to working with CCX in this initiative.
