(900 Airport Rd., Santa Ynez, 688-8390). IZA is also home to Windhaven Glider Rides, offering flights by FAA-certified pilots to the public (688-2517). Nearby full-service general aviation, corporate and public facilities are Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) 30 miles south with more than 70 commercial flights daily (967-7111) as well as Santa Maria Public Airport (SMX) approximately 35 miles north with 10 commercial flights daily (922-1726). Tours Bus: Santa Ynez Valley Transit has regularly scheduled mini-bus routes Monday–Saturday starting at 7 a.m. serving Ballard, Buellton, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang (688-5452). Valley Express regional commuter bus services run Monday–Friday between Buellton and Solvang and Santa Barbara (683-3702). Train: Amtrak offers daily connecting Amtrak Thruway motor coach service to downtown Solvang (bus stop at 1630 Mission Dr. in Solvang Park) from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner offers ten trains a day coming into Santa Barbara.
