connections to the Prairie State, their political
battles, the first ladies who helped them succeed

The Illinois State Museum will introduce a
Bicentennial exhibit called "The Story of Illinois"
featuring items from the museum's 13.5 millionstrong Illinois Legacy Collection.

Sample BBQ, domestic and craft beers, and a
variety of other food and refreshments while you
listen to national, regional and local blues bands.
ILLINOIS CONSTITUTION DAY
Various special events and activities will be
happening in and around Springfield including the
dedication of the Illinois REALTORS® Bicentennial
Plaza. Illinois' Governor Rauner will lead a
motorcycle ride on Route 66 featuring stops at
Illinois' Route 66 roadside attractions, museums,
TREE TOUR - OAK RIDGE CEMETERY

Celebrating some of the cemetery's oldest trees
and tree stones. Oak Ridge is the final resting
place to Abraham Lincoln and 80 other

Book" of Springfield. As Springfield celebrates the
