The system includes several user options such as gender, username, and user status, and administrators also have several options including kick, ban, and word filter. Later, when off air, the recorded session can be rebroadcast, avoiding any down time. Another example is a web radio station. Customers can set up TVStation to prepare a list of songs, advertisements, and sound bites to play. Images can be added to each song and can include album art or an advertising banner and a URL for each item on the list. A full background image can be added to increase advertising exposure. Conducting a PowerPoint-type presentation online using TVStation is another case where images can be set up to play in real time.The administrator user then would opt to override the broadcast with audio-only for voiceover during the broadcast. Broadcast Secure HD Quality Content TVStation works on Adobe Flash Media Server and the Adobe Flash Player web plugin. Since the Flash Player is installed on 98% of all web-enabled computers, it gives immediate access to a very large user base, and end users will not have to download nor install any additional software to view the TVStation. The Flash Player is also crossplatform compatible and works with several operating systems including Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems. Since all video and audio content is streamed via Flash Media Server, content is not downloaded and stored on end user computers.The viewer will simply receive the data as it is needed at any given moment and then immediately discard it after use. The connection can also be encrypted via the Flash Media Server RTMPE protocol.This encryption protects content and ensures its security. TVStation can play any content encoded as Flash Video, On2 Flash Video (Hi-Def), and H.264 formatted video (the standard being used for Blue-Ray and HD-DVD high-definition video),providing the option to broadcast high definition content. Not only can it broadcast commercials in between shows but it also allows for individual custom backgrounds to be specifically set to each item that is broadcasting and viewable to the end user. So, for example, a soda commercial can be edited so it shows a huge soda brand image or banner in the background. Even better, add a clickable URL link to the commercial, allowing the viewer to click to the brand’s website. The built-in reporting system will track how many views the commercial received and charge the sponsors accordingly. As certain TV stations gain recognition,they may generate more sponsors and viewers to feed in revenue. To keep track of viewers, TVStation has a reporting system built in.The system keeps track of all views for each media item, and reporting can be sorted by video, viewer IP region, and , browser.Stats are updated in real time,and there are no long load times,so administrators can get requested information on demand. Additionally, TVStation is flexible and built for easy customization.This means labels and skins can be changed to alter the entire application’s look without having any programming knowledge. Anyone can customize TVStation as needed. This flexibility allows TVStation to be modified for a given market and resold under a private label if desired.
