Meredith began volunteering with the dAre program for her Psychology major and incorporated her passion for helping others into her jobs as peer tutor, study group leader, and tutor manager at the Ballotti Learning Center (BLC) over the past few years. As an Archer fellow double majoring in Psychology and Sociology, a member of the CAS honor Society, the Psychology National honor Society, and a worker at riverside Community Care Services in dedham and the BLC, Meredith believes it’s possible to do well as long as you’re aware of the resources available to help you. Meredith graduated in May and plans to immerse herself in the work force before applying for a Ph.d. in Clinical Psychology. never fade away, and yvonne Wakim is serious about making hers a reality. As a young girl, yvonne was always spending time with her neighbor’s dog. These days, she is a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant for dr. Wolf’s Animal Medical Center in dedham, where she is able to apply knowledge from her biology classes to her work. her love of animals and their complexity fuels her ambition, and she enjoys the diagnostic challenge they present. vice president of both the health Careers Club and the Tribeta Biological honors Society at Suffolk, she also worked in the Biology department and assisted in Anatomy and Physiology labs. yvonne will spend her summer on the coastal shores of Maine researching mammal life with Suffolk professor Lauren Nolfo-Clements. She plans to continue her studies in a graduate veterinary program. general manager of WSUB Productions, Gustave Cadet dedicated much of his time at Suffolk to electronic media. one of his main priorities was collaborating with other student groups, such as the Suffolk University hispanic Association (SUhA) and the Performing Arts office, and helping them with promotions, aiding with production needs, or just showing support. despite choosing Suffolk for its “underdog” reputation, Gustave himself is anything but that. he excelled in many creative opportunities at Suffolk—writing for the Suffolk Voice, performing in theater productions as well as producing the annual WSUB Student film Showcase, which features films written, directed, and composed by Suffolk students.
