He sees the importance of understanding tax policy and works to ensure that Suffolk’s MST students develop insight into what they are doing and why. “I want our students to be able to contribute to the tax policy debate. This ability will be extremely valuable in understanding tax issues and predicting future changes in tax law,” he says. “The ability to conduct research is becoming more and more important for their careers.” In his own research, Angelini is on the cutting-edge—examining the geographic equity of federal tax policy. A first to conduct this type of research, Angelini encourages students to also think creatively. “Taxation is an extremely creative and rewarding field,” he notes. “Our MST is rigorous and demanding. The high quality of our program advances careers, and our faculty help students along the way.” mba 780 Managing in the Global Environment accounting core courses (15 credits / 5 courses, may be waived with substitution of electives) acct 861 Leadership in the Financial Professions acct 802 Graduate Financial Accounting II acct 803 Graduate Financial Accounting III acct 824 Corporate Financial Reporting and Analysis acib 872 Multinational Financial Analysis and Control tax 876 Tax Policy acct 825 Corporate Financial Planning and Control acct 865 Technology and Financial Information Systems
