When it comes to Planned Developments, SCOA has experience as a sole owner or in partnerships with local developers. In either case, our expertise and financial background ensures the successful completion of the project. We are currently pursuing new investment opportunities in high-growth, high-quality-of-life markets throughout the U.S. The entrance to Hamilton Mill Clubhouse at Towne Lake Towne Lake is SCOA’s master-planned community located in Houston, Texas. We are working as master developer in partnership with the Caldwell Companies, a local Houston real estate company founded in 1991. The initial acquisition was completed in October 2004, and includes a total of 2,400 acres. The project is currently planned to include 2,900 single family homes priced from the low $200’s to over $1.0M. The plans include 430 acres allocated for commercial uses including several restaurant sites, small retail shops, two elementary schools and one middle school, townhomes, apartments, amphitheater, small office, and a town center complex. The centerpiece of the community is our development of a 300-acre man-made, fully navigable lake. Residents will be able to enjoy boating, water skiing, and fishing, as well as resident clubhouses with fitness centers, meeting spaces, pools, and tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts.
