Multi-family Communities In a strategic move to increase and diversify our residential investment portfolio, the SCOA Real Estate Group entered the rental apartment market in 1988 through a partnership with Rose Associates. Together we built the Parc Vista Apartments at Pentagon City, a 20-story apartment complex in Arlington, Virginia. This was followed by a joint venture with the Woodlands Company to construct and operate rental apartment properties in Houston, Texas. Located within the Woodlands master-planned community, the joint venture consisted of 4 separate projects totaling 1,015 apartment units. The Woodlands Apartments in Houston, Texas. Renaissance Villas in Phoenix, AZ. In August 1998, SCOA further expanded its apartment development and investment activities to include projects in Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, Austin, and Atlanta. Through partnerships with Fairfield Residential, Trammell Crow Residential and The Frank Development Group, we have developed 7 projects totaling in excess of 2,200 rental units.
