In this issue, we highlight several success stories where a company’s growth led their business groups to profitable positions in the marketplace. Our cover story on Pacific Summit Energy’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) ventures illustrates how the company experienced extensive expansion since its formation in 2004, and is growing to become a leader in natural gas marketing across the nation very soon. TBC Private Brands’ annual meeting in January is the focus of another tale of growth in this issue of Visions. From aggressive marketing to product development, Private Brands’ fiscal growth over the past year can be credited to respecting the relationship with the customer. We examine another growing financial success in our focus on Oxford Finance Corporation. As a provider of financing to innovative life science companies, Oxford reported significant loan and revenue increases this year. Oxford-funded companies are not only growing financially, but one of its companies that specializes in “regenerative medicine” is actually growing human organs from patients’ own cells!
