Tracy Collins, Director of Corporate Programs and Sponsor for TBC’s Tire Kingdom, helped establish the program with Summit VetPharm. “TBC CEO Larry Day contacted me and asked me to work with Summit VetPharms’ Julia Stephanus in putting the program together,” Collins said. “In my position, I generally reach out to national organizations or companies that have 100 plus employees and extend a discount program to associates; we saw an opportunity here to extend a discount that could be beneficial to everyone involved.” “With the existing opportunities for companies & organizations to participate in the preferred corporate customer discount program, it became sensible to extend that to AVMA and partner with Summit Vetpharm,” continued Collins. “The benefit to TBC is additional customers, and this is the perfect opportunity to get our brand name to Summit VetPharm customers in those markets.” The program’s mission is to support the American Veterinary Medical Foundation’s many efforts on behalf of animals. The AVMF is the charitable arm of the AVMA that funds disaster response and emergency preparedness training and accepts charitable contributions on behalf of these efforts.
