The branch occupies about 5,000 square feet of this new building at 1048 Lake Sumter Landing, which is about a quarter to a third larger than its former location. About five years ago, the original branch office opened with the debut of Sumter Landing as The Villages’ second town center. GO & DO Originally staffed by four financial advisers, the office now offers clients eight licensed professionals. The parent corporation recently expanded its wealth-management business through a joint venture with the Smith Barney operating group of Citi, another major global financial service firm.
