MARCH 2010 2 The Bunny is Back Features Easter Week is coming to The Villages March 29 – April 2 this year and the Recreation Department is busy planning a wide variety of fun activities for visiting family. Buy your tickets early is the recommendation to join in on the fun. 10 Combining Wind and Water 20 Getting Kids into Golf Seafarers of all experience levels join together to enjoy gliding across the water with The Villages Sailing Club. The group sails twice a month on Lake Sumter enjoying the sights of Florida’s Friendliest Hometown. Kids in Sumter, Lake and Marion counties have a tremendous opportunity to learn golf through the Tri-County Junior Golf Foundation. Programs are offered with the goal of introducing golf to kids and providing proper instruction to begin a foundation for success. Find out what kids like about the sport. 30 Brushstrokes Around Town His creative touches are seen nearly everywhere in The Villages, but most Villagers know very little about Dennis Graves, the artist behind most of the murals and custom painting in the community. Learn about Graves and his latest challenge, four beach-scene murals recently installed in SeaBreeze Recreation Center.
