Brenda and Norm have moved many times over the years.
"We never bought a house with the intention to flip it, but we
got bored, so we'd transform our homes, then sell them furnished
and go on to the next project," Brenda said.
With each house, she took on a little more and became
bolder, more daring, confident and skilled with her designs and

Before coming to The Villages eight years ago, the Schwentors
tried retiring to Texas from Albuquerque, New Mexico. They
purchased an old fishing cabin on a lake and remodeled it, of
course. However, the area was too remote and they didn't feel at
home. But after visiting a friend in The Villages, they decided to
make the stay permanent.
"We love it here," Brenda said.
Armed with paint, wallpaper, fabric and wood, the Village
of Duval residents plan to stay busy and happy in their magical
home where pigs fly.
