It's a day to don poppies, raise flags, attend potlucks and
honor the lives that were lost in service. Memorial Day is a
special day, celebrated on the last Monday in May. With
family and friends, good food and fond memories, we
wish you a wonderful time. Here are some menu options
appropriate for the day of remembrance.

12-Second Coleslaw
Serves 6

IngredIents
1 10-ounce package angel-hair style shredded
cabbage; 2 tablespoons Thousand Island
dressing; 2 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar;
1 teaspoon hot sauce; Pinch of salt
dIrectIons
1. Stir cabbage, Thousand Island dressing, rice
vinegar, hot sauce and salt together in a bowl
with a fork until evenly mixed.

1. Whisk garlic, mayonnaise, sour cream,
vinegar and sugar in a large bowl. 2. Add
broccoli, water chestnuts, bacon, cranberries
and pepper; stir to coat with the dressing.
Make Ahead Tip: Cover and refrigerate for
up to 1 day.
