Christmas in July Cruise In
4 to 9 p.m. July 15, Spanish Springs
Check out the beautiful classic cars, years 1980 and older.
Scooter the DJ will entertain in the gazebo and The Villages
Twirlers Show Team and Drum Corps will be doing their
holiday routine. The Christmas In July Cruise In also includes
the biannual toy drive, when unwrapped toys are collected
for underprivileged children in the tri-county area for the
upcoming holiday season. Bring your toys and/or monetary
donations to Santa's Workshop Tent, located at the entrance
to the gazebo, where you also can drop off your letter to
Santa or write one on-site to give to Santa's elves. All toys and
monetary donations, including the proceeds from the 50-50
chance drawing, will be given to the Sumter County Sheriff's
Office to benefit local children in need and their families this
upcoming holiday season. On-site registration for cars years
1980 and older takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. at the head of
Main Street. The Christmas In July Cruise In is a great way to
see some amazing classic cars while having the opportunity to
make a child's holiday season a little brighter.

The Villages Fourth of
July Celebrations
5 to 9 p.m. July 4, Spanish Springs,
Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood
It's time to celebrate the 241st birthday of this great
country with The Villages Fourth of July celebrations. Enjoy
this very special patriotic holiday with all of your friends,
neighbors and grandkids, complete with great bands at
all three main stages, including Blue Stone Circle in the
gazebo at Spanish Springs, Johnny Wild & the Delights in
the pavilion at Lake Sumter Landing, and Scooter the DJ
at Brownwood. Don't miss the extremely talented Villages
Festival Performance Groups performing throughout the
squares, including The Villages Cheerleaders, The Villages
Twirlers and Drum Corps, Aloha 'O Ka Hula Dance Troupe
and the Prime Time Twirlers. Get to know the patriotic stilt
walkers, take a family photo with lots of festive decorations,
enjoy the vendors at Market Night at Lake Sumter Landing,
and eat some down-home cookin' from La Hacienda
Catering at Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing.
