Hemingway's at Havana Ropa Vieja Beef Sandwich the "Viewtini" IngRedIentS foR 2 IngRedIentS foR 1 Sliced sourdough bread; sliced dill pickles; 2 pounds beef roast; 1 tablespoon kosher salt; 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper; 2 tablespoons Adobo seasoning; 1 cup diced white onion; 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes; 2 tablespoons minced garlic; 1 tablespoon lowsodium beef base; 1 quart water 7 fresh mint leaves; 5 slices European cucumber; 3/4 ounce Agave nectar; 1 ounce fresh lime juice; 2 ounces 3-olive cucumber lime vodka dIRectIonS 1. Place the beef roast in a slow cooker. 2. Dice onion and garlic and add to the slow cooker. 3. Put remaining ingredients into a mixing bowl and combine thoroughly. 4. Add the mixture to beef and cook for 6-7 hours until meat is fork tender. 5. Butter two slices of sourdough bread on one side and grill in a hot skillet until golden brown on buttered side. Set aside and place sliced pickles on bread. 6.
