In the Village of Gilchrest, you'll find a symbol of the Jewish faith - the menorah. It stands 10 feet tall, crafted from PVC pipes and equipped with LED lights and waterproof sockets. "A group of friends and I got together and built the menorah last year," David Multz said. He and his wife, Arlene, enjoy holiday traditions and the precious memories they evoke. "It's an extra-special holiday because it was my father's favorite, and he passed away on the last night of Hanukkah many years ago," Arlene said. Also known as "The Festival of Lights," Hanukkah is a time of merriment and a tribute to Jews of the past - people who worked to preserve the faith and culture. 20 DECEMBER 2017
