The Freedom NC 200 machine control system has disk-less flash memory, a plugand-play module, and is “green”-friendly. New developments include fan-less cooling, wire-free surface-mount board construction, and advanced protection circuitry. The sizing control, fan-less cooling, and EcoVerter servo system all contribute to the environmentally friendly features of the product. With Ethernet Powerlink communications, the Freedom NC 200 has a 32-bit color display with 2D or 3D graphics and Vericode, which is a color-coded NC editor. The new version incorporates an embedded project management option and a new shop floor access client. With this product, project managers can exercise more control over scheduling projects, allocating resources, and importing and exporting project plans through Microsoft Project. The new features aim to optimize engineering resources and expand access to product data for small and midsized businesses, the company said.
