B Y PA U L T A T E hen Siemens President and CEO Peter Löscher rose to announce the company’s new global growth strategy in London recently, he had two key words to say — sustainability and innovation. Those two words are interconnected, as a big part of achieving sustainability will depend on successful innovation. By 2011, Siemens wants to capture $25 billion in revenue from innovative environmental products ranging from wind power to off-grid lighting and low-energy trains. “Innovations are the company’s most important business drivers,” he told the international audience. “Leveraging our innovative technologies will enable us to grow twice as fast as global w 12 September 2008
