Clinical Advancements in MRI - (Page 7) Vantage Case Study Whole Heart mrca profiLe: Images were obtained from a 50-year-old man who presented with new onset of chest pain. The whole heart MRA exam demonstrated a left dominant system. fiNDiNGS: Right coronary artery (RCA) shows minimal narrowing of approximately 4cm from the right coronary ostium. This narrows the lumen less than 30%. Study revealed narrowing over a length of 1-2cm and narrows the lumen proximal to 30%. Additional findings include narrowing in the mid circumflex and in multiple non-obstructive plaques in approximate left anterior descending (LAD). ScaN parameterS: TR: 5.2ms, TE: 2.6ms, Slice Thickness 1.1mm, Time: 4:36, Coil: SPEEDER Cardiac coil. Image 1: 3D volume rendered image depicting the coronary arteries; RCA, LAD and circumflex. Image 2: 3D volume rendered image depicting the coronary arteries; RCA, LAD, and circumflex. Image 3: Spider view of the coronary arteries. RCA is narrowed. Image 4: Partial width MIP of the coronary arteries, note narrowed RCA. Image 5: Coronary analysis demonstrates a narrowed right coronary.
