Their announcement said the software will give merchants the capability to securely process credit card transactions through wireless IP, Wi-Fi and Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS) terminals. CHARGE Anywhere for QuickBooks POS will allow ISOs and Agents to retain ownership of merchant accounts that utilize QuickBooks, while continuing to provide credit card processing services, according to the release. Merchants will also be able to process their credit card transactions through any major payment processor that is certified with ComsGate, CHARGE Anywhere’s Payment Card Industry (PCI DSS) Level 1 compliant, IP & Wireless Payment Gateway. The company said that CHARGE Anywhere was specifically designed as an end-to-end Point of Sale (POS) and electronic payment solution platform to manage customer card data security with industry best practices, and features an encrypted database and advanced key rotation functionality that securely stores and protects sensitive transactional data. When integrating the CHARGE Anywhere secure payment solution with QuickBooks, merchants can process and import credit card transactions generated via e-commerce, POS terminals and other wireless devices. Merchants can also capture and manage pertinent customer contact information at the point of sale which can be used to support communications efforts and sales initiatives. It said this is the first electronic payment processing solution to earn the certification.
