Vendors and affiliates may now choose to get paid directly to their own Avangate Prepaid MasterCard and enjoy immediate access to their payments. The universally accepted, Avangatebranded cards can be used for making purchases or cash withdrawals at any point of purchase or ATM worldwide that accepts MasterCard. The companies say the Avangate Prepaid MasterCard is particularly appealing to software vendors and affiliates who otherwise are subject to high bank fees and lengthy delays when receiving payments by wire transfer. The Avangate Prepaid MasterCard allows international vendors and affiliates to spend or withdraw cash in local currency at favorable exchange rates, round the clock. Secure and convenient, cardholders can check their accounts and perform transactions online 24/7. If a card is lost or stolen, Payoneer cancels the card and transfers the remaining balance to a new replacement card. “We are pleased to be working with Payoneer so our software vendors - particularly those who sell exclusively online and want to be paid also online - can take advantage of this fast and easy payment alternative,” noted Avangate Global Sales Manager, Laurentiu Ghenciu. “For eCommerce providers like Avangate that serve suppliers around the world, an international payment method that is fast, inexpensive and convenient is a necessity,” commented Yuval Tal, CEO of Payoneer. “With the co-branded prepaid debit MasterCard from Payoneer, Avangate can reinforce their brand to suppliers while offering them a better way to get paid.” Source: Payoneer, Inc. According to Hypercom, the new system offers a fast and highly secure alternative to the industry’s traditional secure room key injection process. “Retailers no longer have to ship their terminals to secure facilities for time-consuming key injections,” said Lloyd Baylard, Vice President, Multilane Products, Hypercom Corporation. “This advance represents a technological leap that streamlines the entire key injection process and saves merchants time and money.” HRKS eliminates the need for off-site secure room key injections by incorporating PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) to securely distribute symmetric 3DES keys. The system incorporates a Futurex Excrypt KMS9000 key management server with specific functionality developed for Hypercom. The Excrypt KMS9000 system is X509, FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and PCI DSS compliant. HRKS meets ANSI x9.24 and Visa PIN Security Guidelines for remote key management. “Hypercom’s introduction of HRKS caps a more than three year effort by both companies, all towards the goal of creating a more secure key injection solution to help customers save time, money and deliver the peace of mind that comes from a security design based on ANSI and Visa industry standards for remote key management,” said Brett Smith, CEO of Futurex. Hypercom’s HRKS is available now with Hypercom’s Optimum L4150 and L4250 multilane terminals as well as later versions of the Optimum L4100.
