2008 Pilot House Awards Nemertes Research is hosting its inaugural dinner to award carriers who received the top scores from enterprise IT executives in its extensive Advanced Communications Services research project. Nemertes also will recognize IT executives who have demonstrative innovative and efficient use of communications services. The Nemertes 2008 Pilot House Awards dinner, scheduled for Monday, April 14, 2008, will be held in conjunction with the FutureNet Conference at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, MA Nemertes, a research advisory firm that focuses on quantifying the business impact of emerging technology, interviewed and surveyed several hundred IT executives, asking them to rate their primary and secondary service providers and to explain how they use advanced services. Nemertes will give the 2008 Pilot House Awards to those service providers who received the highest average scores in several categories, and to those IT executives who scored highest in Nemertes’ Services Sophistication Scorecard. The research project relies on detailed interviews and surveys of all sizes of companies, with a heavy emphasis of global multinationals based primarily in the United States. The customers are responsible for selecting, or influencing the selection of, suppliers of wireline business-communications services. Nemertes will announce finalists to the providers in late February, followed by an official awards dinner to announce winners at FutureNet .
