Visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument before winding through some of the West's most famous Red Rock Country scenery to the quaint town of Sedona, an eclectic mix of Western, Native and New Age cultures. Then, climb through dramatic Oak Creek Canyon, with incredible views looking back over Sedona and its Red Rock Country. Continue into the pine-covered Kaibab Plateau for our first view of the amazing Grand Canyon National Park at Mather Point. Enjoy the changing views of this natural wonder before reaching the hotel located near the South Rim. (FB) Hotel: National Park Lodges Day 5 - Grand Canyon - Navajo Country - Lake Powell This morning admire the canyon's amazing colors in the sunrise light, or, for an entirely different perspective, why not take an optional flightseeing tour for a spectacular bird's eye view of the Grand Canyon. Then journey east into the vast Navajo Indian Reservation and stop at a historic Indian trading. Then it's on through the Painted Desert to Glen Canyon Dam, and Lake Powell.
