The activities included a Boston Harbor cruise and a trolley tour through South Boston to the original State Teachers College campus at 625 Huntington Avenue, where alumni visited familiar corridors, auditoriums, and a courtyard little changed over a half century and now inhabited by another public institution, the Massachusetts College of Art. To see a reunion slideshow, visit www.umb.edu/ua/report 08. For the photo above, class members assembled in the Campus Center. The celebration continued with a campus reception and dinner with Chancellor Motley during which the Class of 1958 presented a check of $30,000 to endow a Graduate College of Education scholarship.
