september 21, 2007 national leadership & Chamber excellence training institute— The USHCC Foundation knows that leadership and learning go hand-in-hand. On Friday, September 21, 2007 the USHCC Foundation will host the National Leadership & Chamber Training Institute. Created as a specific chamber member service, the institute focuses on how to grow a local chamber of commerce through such activities as enhanced member services, effective fundraising campaigns, maximizing technology, participation in local and federal legislative processes, and how to form beneficial strategic alliances and partnerships. Please join us for this series of capacity building sessions. 2007 institute topics include: The Value of Chamber Membership Chamber Effectiveness through Stakeholder Engagement Mastering the Corporate Supply Chain-Strategies for Competitiveness Board Governance and Leadership Transformation national Youth entrepreneurship “BizFest” training & Competition—september 20-22, 2007 Come see high school students from the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico participate in the 2007 National “BizFest” Competition.
