Viewbook - (Page 39) Students take a refreshing break at one of University Village’s pools. Housing Living away from home can be a perfect way to transition to college life, offering you greater freedom, more responsibility and a fun environment where you can make lifelong friends. If you’d rather stay at home (not everyone yearns to do their own cooking and laundry) and commute to school, that’s okay too. Freshmen who live on campus can choose from either a four-bedroom apartment at University Village, or they can live in a new, 148,000-square-foot, 400-bed residence hall. Living here has advantages, including unlimited access to all that Dallas and Fort Worth have to offer – great shops, restaurants, museums, art galleries, five major sports teams, live local bands and top-name entertainment at the new American Airlines Center. Everything is literally at your fingertips. And as a registered UT Dallas student, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in University-sponsored events held several times a year in and around town. utdallas.edu/housing The University of Texas at Dallas 37 http://www.utdallas.edu/housing
