Scholarships All undergraduates admitted to the University are automatically considered for an Academic Excellence Scholarship (AES) Award. Important factors for selection of freshmen include SAT or ACT scores, class rank, grade point average, and success in honors or advanced placement course work. Your application for admission serves as your application for the AES Scholarships. They range from $2,000 per year (renewable) up to full-tuition, fees, a housing stipend, and a stipend for other expenses based on the University’s evaluation of your academic achievements. Family income is not considered in the process of determining AES Scholarships. Priority is given to those who submit a FAFSA on or before March 31. financial-aid.utdallas.edu Guaranteed Tuition Plan All incoming freshmen receive the benefit of UT Dallas’ Guaranteed Tuition Plan which allows students to receive a four-year, locked-in rate on up to 15 credit hours per semester. Courses taken beyond 15 semester credit hours are essentially free. Transfer students may lock in the UT Dallas tuition rate prior to enrollment via the Comet Connection Program. utdallas.edu/tuition/guarantee Tuition Promise Tuition Promise students receive free tuition and mandatory fees.
