STANDARD Bearings... has been demonstrated that these policies can lead to higher penetration of distributed solar, however, if the right pricing models are not in place for infrastructure services needed to support these new higher penetration levels of distributed solar, there may be a challenge to fund the investments on the grid needed to effectively integrate these new distributed generation sources in a manner that maintains the basic reliability and resiliency of the grid. GWA/SGPC has established an advisory committee made up of key stakeholders to guide the implementation of this index as well as provide feedback on the results and future enhancements, which will increase the value over time. GWA and SGSP plan to release the 2013 results in July, in time for the 2013 Summer NARUC meeting in Denver. electric utilities, industry suppliers, and service providers from the equipment, communications, and information technology sectors. Joined by universities, national laboratories and others, the GWA works to enhance electric grid performance, and to transform our nation’s electric system to meet the needs of the 21st century.
