They’re the ultimate in feminine appeal! • This style works best when long, subtle layers are snipped into hair, so head to your stylist for a trim. • Soften extremely curly textures with a chemical relaxer. If strands are moderately curly, press them straight with a thermal iron or smooth with a blow dryer and large round brush. Apply a smoothing serum to damp hair before applying heat. • Mist hair gently with a heat-protective formula. • Create a wide, “Mohawk-shaped” section from the front hairline down to the nape of your neck. Gabrielle Union • Starting in front, create a one-inch subsection, comb through with a fine-tooth comb, grasp the ends and wind a large hot-roller from tip to scalp. Direct the roller away from your face. • Continue placing rollers down the “Mohawk” section, then repeat in two more vertical sections on each side, front to back. • Let the rollers cool completely, then gently remove. • Finger style, gently separating and blending each rolled section. • Mist with a shine-boosting spray.
