Farouk Systems has always invested heavily in education and, this year, when many companies are trimming their education budgets, Farouk is actually stepping up its commitment to professional training. Credit goes to company founder Farouk Shami, whose personal passion for teaching has always guided the core philosophies of Farouk Systems. And 2009 promises to be a historical year in the company’s educational journey! CHI Academy Opens Its Doors to the World The biggest news comes directly from our home here in Houston. This month, we throw open the doors of the brand new, stateof-the-art CHI Academy. Now students have the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in the CHI “experience.” Participants of the Peace and Love Conference in Cancun last summer got a taste of the experience, which included a new focus on combining creative artistry with practical, real-world techniques. Attendees also witnessed a true international gathering, with teams from across the globe coming together to share and learn from each other. This experience continues in Houston, with a class schedule featuring an international roster of top Farouk educators.
