CHI Spring 2008 - (Page 23) Actress and singer Mel B. CHAT: “REAL WORLD SYDNEY’S” PARISA This NYU graduate is brainy and beautiful—she studied international law, Middle Eastern studies and economics in college, and she’s also an accomplished jazz singer. But before she had a foothold in the real world, MTV’s Real World came calling and she headed to Sydney right after graduation. Now she’s back, and ready for her next adventure! CHI®: So what will it be: law, finance, music, acting or none of the above? Parisa: Back to singing. I’m working on an album now. It’s influenced by jazz, and I’m playing around with other styles. You can find out all about it on my myspace page: www.myspace.com/parisa720. CHI®: How did you like Sydney? Parisa: I was there for nearly four months. I left right after graduation and it was like my semester abroad. It was beautiful heaven on earth! CHI®: Rumor has it that you’re a big fan of CHI® Silk Infusion. Parisa: Oh, it’s great! It’s my go-to product. I slather it on after shampooing and conditioning my hair. CHI®: Any other favorites? Parisa: I got my first CHI® flat iron in high school. I had pin-straight hair as a kid, but suddenly I developed a natural wave that gets frizzy in the summer. So I would never be without it! I also just discovered the CHI® Ceramic Nail Polish. It really does go that extra mile; it lasted through a night of dancing in 4-inch heels without smudging. I’m thoroughly impressed! Parisa of MTV’s Real World Sydney.
