And after spending a fair amount of time behind the scenes in Hollywood, I can reveal with certainty that nearly every beauty company courts these desirable “customers” constantly! After all, who wouldn’t be thrilled to be able to say that a well-known actress or pop star is a fan? That’s why we’re so complimented by the fact that Hollywood has embraced so many of our CHI® and BioSilk® products. We’re on Shauky Gulamani, president of Farouk Systems the sets of countless hit television shows and films (Ugly Betty, The Office, Law & Order, High School Musical and Dancing with the Stars, just to name a few) and we receive frequent invitations to attend celebrity studded events. In fact, we’ve all spent a lot of time in Hollywood this year! It began at the beginning of 2007, when we unveiled our diamond-studded, Million Dollar CHI® Iron at the glittering, glitzy Academy Awards. As the year progressed, we were invited to party with the cast of NBC’s critically acclaimed drama Friday Night Lights; to send our products on tour with Jordin Sparks, Melinda Doolittle, Blake Lewis and the rest of the finalists from American Idol; and hang out in the BET Gifting Suite and at the Teen Choice Awards. Just last month, we barely had time to unpack our bags, as we raced from MTV’s Video Music Awards in Las Vegas to the Emmy Awards Gifting Suite in L.A. (We’ll have a complete report on those events in the next issue of CHI® magazine.) We’ve also just accepted an invitation to serve as the exclusive hair care provider for a hot new game show called Temptations. Celebrities are lucky enough to be able to have the best of everything. The fact that they turn to us means that they consider our CHI® and BioSilk® products the very best for the beauty, style and health of their hair. And the best news of all? It also means that salon customers in the real world—customers exactly like you—have access to the shampoos, conditioners, styling formulas and thermal tools that produce hair with massive star quality!
