But this is the technology age, so our featured teen stars happily sent along text-message replies to our three questions! Three Simple Questions for Joy Lauren She landed a plum role on one of TV’s hottest shows and today Joy Lauren is living the sweet life. On Desperate Housewives, her role as the rebellious Danielle VanDeKamp offers this teen actress the chance for non-stop fun and constant surprises on the set. With Marcia Cross as her TV mom, there is no telling what’s in store for her character and for this rising young star! 1. Desperate Housewives is a favorite for countless viewers. What is your must-see TV show? I have a few, but the top two are probably The Office and The Sopranos. It breaks my heart that The Sopranos ended! 2. What is your favorite red carpet hair style? Something that I can run my hands through! Sticky products drive me crazy; but I need to use them pretty often because my hair stubbornly refuses to hold a curl. 3. What are your must-have beauty products? I love BeneFit’s Georgia blush. It’s a really gorgeous color and it smells like peaches. Then of course, I can’t live without my CHI® Rocket Blow Dryer.
