The shape looked too square, as if they tried to give a short bob movement and it got too big. The balance seemed a bit off.” What Doughty would do: Go a bit softer with a style that frames the face. This Emmy style looks as though Pompeo was trying too hard— and she doesn’t need to. She took home an Emmy and stole the red carpet show. Blonde beauty Katherine Heigl is quickly becoming an award show glamor icon. “Her simple updo fit her face and her age,” says Doughty, “glamorous and perfectly put together.
