The site, devoted to helping stylists as they progress through their career, will offer professional development training created by Carroll, who is a master at combining fashion and business. In 2009 the business component will go online with classes in operations, finance, marketing and human resources. “We believe our visitors to ModernSalonLearning.com will derive outstanding value from Jamie’s courses and gain important exposure to international style trends,” says MODERN Publisher Scot Stevens. Pureology Hosts Alternative Cutting Class Pureology is hosting a series of training classes conducted by Pureology educators and facilitators who are chosen based on their particular areas of expertise. The most recent class, held in New York City, was Seasonal Inspiration 2008-Alternative Cutting, which was taught by Angel Del Solar, Wendy Belanger and Darren Pena. The three educators went step-by-step through Pureology’s current trend showing attendees how to master the single line bob technique using both shears and razor.
