Remove length at the perimeter; use the hairline as a guide. 6. Cut the fringe area to frame the face. Place your comb at the hairline by the ear. Roll the comb to the top of the head to section out the fringe area. Repeat on the other side. 9. Return to the back and section out the middle. Take a subsection from the top to below the crown, hold straight out and cut. Then take the bottom subsection, and with the head tilted down, cut to blend. BEFORE 3. Take a one-inch subsection from each side to continue removing length, cutting against skin. Repeat with hands facing down, cutting to the guide for two more subsections on both sides. 10. On the left, take a top section and over-direct hair straight back from the part; cut to guide. Continue in this manner through the section. Repeat on right. 7. Standing on the clientÕs right, take a subsection from the thicker side of the fringe and diagonally part by combing straight down. Hold your Þngers parallel to the section and cut. Repeat on this side until you run out of hair. Repeat on the other side to join the fringe. 4. Drop down the fourth subsection from the top to behind the ear, hold the hair straight down with no elevation and cut to the guide on both sides. Repeat this on the Þnal subsection on both sides. If necessary, clean-up the hairline with a straight razor. 11. Below the occipital, work through the back with triple shears to create movement in the cut. Shears: Eufora Triple Shears 1. Section the hair into four quadrants from the apex to behind the ears and from the top of the head to the nape. 5. Move to the front and section hair diagonally. Take a ¼-inch subsection and cut diagonally with your Þngers parallel to the part. Repeat until you run out of hair on both sides. 8. To cut the corners, take a diagonal section from the top to the front of the ear on the right side. Comb the hair straight down and cut.
