Vascular (Continued) • Endovascular aneurysm repair (AAA graft) – is a minimally invasive procedure performed to repair a bulging, weakened area in the wall of the aorta. • Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt – is the non-surgical treatment to open blood flow through the liver, stopping damage caused by liver disease. • Carotid Endarterectomy – is a surgical procedure performed to remove plaque build-up inside the arteries of the neck. • Thoracic-Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair – is a surgical procedure to repair chest and/or abdomen aneurysms (weakening, bulging of the walls of the largest artery in the body). • Bypass Procedures – is the surgical opening of the vessels to visualize and go around the blocked portion of the artery and attach a new blood vessel or graft below the blocked portion to improve blood flow. • Dialysis Access - is an entranceway into your bloodstream that lies completely beneath your skin and is easy to use. • Venous Access - In venous access, a long, thin tube, called a catheter, acts as a kind of entry way into your vein. • Venous Thrombolysis – is the non-surgical use of clot-busting drugs to break-up and dissolve blood clots. • Varicose Vein Treatment - treatments include sclerotherapy, ablation, vein stripping, and laser treatment.
