An island of extreme land and sea beauty
This archipelago of three bite-size islands located in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and the North African
coast offers tons of natural beauty for travelers. Among Malta's historic attractions are megalithic temples, fortress-like
hilltop towns, and Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, a 5,000-year-old necropolis carved from rock; the name means "underground"
