A slice of tropical paradise
Bali is so picture perfect, it's no wonder it's referred to as "Island of the Gods."
Although it's a popular destination, its natural beauty - think lush forests,
volcanoes, and tropical beaches - is beyond breathtaking. Warm temperatures
year-round make it an appealing getaway for sunseekers from all corners of the
globe. October to April is the rainy season; May to September is the dry season.
For seclusion, escape to the mountains or the north and west coasts. Be mindful
of what you wear. Despite Bali's breezy low-key vibe, many of the island's bars,
nightclubs, and restaurants do enforce a dress code. Drink lots of water: Bali's
intense heat and humidity call for constant hydration. For travelers looking to
savor local cuisine, keep an out for typical dishes like grilled pork, martabak
pancakes, and spicy noodle soup. Bali is also an amazing place to pick up
souvenirs from local artisans. One of the best locations for shopping is the Ubud
Traditional Art Market.
Our Virtuoso shore experience features several cultural stops, including visits to
Singapadu village to visit a traditional Balinese compound and to Mas Village to
visit the workshop and gallery of a Balinese sculptor. In between stops, we'll have
a delicious Balinese lunch at Ayung Terrace Restaurant at the Four Seasons Resort
Bali At Sayan.
