SWISS FAMILY SPA RETREAT
In homage to the beloved fictional Swiss miss Heidi, the 263-room
Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland's Rhine Valley - the setting of
author Johanna Spyri's classic tale - opens a new family spa this spring.
The indoor play area's rustic alpine hut, inspired by the home Heidi
grew up in with her grandfather, houses a thermal swimming pool,
a baby pool, and a lounge space for parents. Children's spa services
include playful "Bling Bling Fingers" manicures and gentle massages.
Four spacious new family spa suites help extend the pampering to the
whole clan. Doubles from $598, including breakfast daily and a $100 spa
credit. Children's spa services from $90.

After a months-long, $25 million
renovation, the 92-room Rosewood
Bermuda is back with a new look. In
addition to refreshed guest rooms
featuring local art and handcrafted
decor, the resort updated its Sense
Spa, added the new Conservatory Bar
and Lounge, and redesigned its five
other existing restaurants and bars.
Upon check-in, ditch your bags and
head to the revamped Beach Club - a
few feet away from one of the island's
famous pink-sand beaches. Bartenders sling tequila drinks (some of which
are made with an exclusive Rosewood
Bermuda Patrón), and the space's
natural new look complements a
casual menu that showcases locally
caught tuna, yellowtail snapper, and
rockfish. Also on the menu: frosé, our
favorite way to celebrate summer.
Doubles from $546, including breakfast daily and a $100 hotel credit.
