The Official National Pokédex: Pokémon
Ultra Sun & Pokémon Ultra Moon Edition
BROUGHT TO YOU BY PRIMA GAMES
Completing the National Pokédex
Completing a Pokédex is no simple task. Over 550 species of Pokémon can be obtained by a dedicated Trainer adventuring in Alola in Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra
Moon. Getting them all would be more than enough to complete your Alola Regional Pokédex. But if you hope to complete what we call the National Pokédex, there are over
800 Pokémon species that have been discovered to date!
TIP
As you may have read in the Pokémon Checklist, you don't have to obtain every last Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. Rare Pokémon known as Mythical Pokémon are only obtainable through
special distributions. Since they are so hard to come by, your Pokédex will be considered complete by Pokémon Professors everywhere, even if you are missing these Mythical Pokémon. You also only
have to obtain one form of a species for that species to be registered in your Pokédex, even if many other forms may exist.
What is a National Pokédex? If you are new to the world of Pokémon, you might be wondering what a National Pokédex is. The National Pokédex is the
complete collection of all Pokémon species that have been discovered. You can transfer Pokémon into Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon that do not appear
in the Alola Pokédex and fill your PC Boxes with every known species of Pokémon. If you wish to see all of their Pokédex entries, though, you will need to complete your
National Pokédex in the Pokémon Bank application.

This Pokémon controls trees via roots stretching
