oriented. That's in part due to the main
character's special prosthetic arm, which offers
a number of different offensive and defensive
tools. Sekiro will also be able to reach out-ofthe-way areas and close in on enemies using
his grappling hook, bringing a new twist to
both exploration and combat. These features
and more promise to give fans a game that's
familiar yet unexpected when it arrives early
next year. -Mollie L Patterson

One of the bigger surprises of this year's E3
was FromSoftware's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
While it's easy to expect another experience
similar to Dark Souls or Bloodborne, Sekiro
mixes some of their beloved gameplay elements with a number of new ideas. Combat
still requires a satisfying amount of skill, but
will also feel faster-paced and more action-

Following up on its smash-hit predecessor, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 returns us
to a world battling against a killer smallpox
pandemic. This time, we're transported six
months later to the streets of Washington
D.C. during the sweltering peak of summer. While the basics of gameplay will feel
familiar to fans, we've already seen some of
the updates The Division 2 will bring. Players
will now specialize in one of three progression paths-Sharpshooter, Demolitionist
or Survivalist-each complete with unique
signature weapons. Raids will also be bigger
and badder than ever before, as up to eight
players will team up to tackle the numerous
challenges that await. -Mollie L Patterson

After five long years since the last release in
the series, Capcom officially unveiled Devil May
Cry 5 during E3. From what we saw, though, it
was worth the hiatus. Players will get to return
to the demon-filled streets of Red Grave City,
but this time, there will be three playable
characters for slaying monsters. Using the franchise's trademark stylized action gameplay,
you'll take control of Nero and his new robotic
arm, Dante and his trusty sword-and-gun
combo, and a mysterious new character who
may or may not be Lady's son. Most details are
still under wraps, but expect to hunt demons
again sometime next year. -Evan Slead
