Open Open Office Lighting Plan LEGEND Design Solution Description Pendant lighting is automatically turned on and off using the UT-300 series ultrasonic occupancy sensors. The sensors are spaced on a 20’ x 16’ grid to control individual zones, and to assure adequate coverage with partitions. Wallwashers are manually turned on using the L1S single button low voltage switch connected to a BD-100M power pack. While the area is occupied, the occupancy sensor will hold the lighting on. After the area is vacated and after the sensor’s time delay expires, the sensor will turn the wallwashers off. Integration between the lighting and mechanical system is achieved by connecting the sensor’s isolated relay directly with the HVAC system to provide occupancy-based ON/OFF control of HVAC. Power packs are DIN-rail mounted in an enclosure in an accessible location. Emergency lighting is controlled with general lighting; in the event of ordinary power loss, the ELCU will force emergency lighting on.
