The low profile of the CI-300 is preferred for this application because of its unobtrusive, aesthetically attractive appearance. The sensor is powered by a power pack that is located next to the junction box. In this application, the sensor choice is passive infrared because there are no stall partitions that could block the sensor’s view of occupants. Occupants can manually override lighting and the fan off with the wall switch.
