Luminaires are mounted 32’ above finish floor. Rack Night lights operate during power outage Bulk Storage Partial Lighting Plan Rack Storage Partial Lighting Plan Bulk Design Solution Description The lighting in both the Bulk and Rack Storage areas is scheduled on in the morning and off after hours using a Lighting Integrator lighting control panel. Using HB300-B PIR occupancy sensors and DM-100 HID control modules, the lighting is reduced to approximately half level when the area is unoccupied, and returned to full light output when it is occupied during normal operating hours. Independent program schedules are established for every 13 aisles (24,960 ft²) and for every 10,000ft² of open area to comply with the automatic shut-off program schedule requirements of ASHRAE 90.1. Low voltage switches provide manual override of all luminaires if lighting is needed after hours. Each manual switch controls a 10,000ft² zone to comply with the space control requirement of ASHRAE 90.1. The time clock in the panel provides the automatic shut off of this override after two hours. In addition, some HID luminaires are circuited for night and emergency lighting. These luminaires are not controlled and will remain on all of the time. & Code Compliance Guide ASHRAE IECC TITLE 24 1999 2003 2005 2001 2004S 2004 2006 38 Watt Stopper/Legrand W-WA5.0 0508
