These remarkable reclosable products are used in a variety of today’s industries: electronics, transportation, sporting goods, manufacturing, and more. Fast, easy open-and-close action makes these products ideal for dozens of applications where hooks, latches, snaps, zippers, dials, screws, bolts and other fastening methods once prevailed. 3M™ BUMPON™ PROTECTIVE PRODUCTS Bumpon products are manufactured from a durable, resilient polyurethane polymer formulated especially for its unique high coefficient of friction, slip resistance, and non-marring features. An aggressive high tack 3M pressure sensitive adhesive protected with an easy release liner makes application fast and easy. Use wherever slamming, scratching, nicking, scuffing, marring, sliding, vibration, or noise could be a problem for your product. Bumpons are supplied by the sheet in the quantities shown in the table below. For other sizes and colors, contact the sales department for details. Bumpons stick to clean surfaces, when applied at temperatures between 40°F and 125°F (5°C and 52°C). Service temperature once applied is 30°F to 150°F (-1°C to 66°C) or up to 225°F (107°C) with intermittent exposure. Terminals & Connectors Standard Hook and Loop Pressure sensitive hook and loop comes in two woven strips with general purpose adhesive backing. Stiff hooks on one strip are pressed together with pliable loops from the second strip. To unfasten, simply pull apart. Offered in bulk rolls of either hook, loop or mini-packs containing both parts.
